WonderGround™ is a music program for children developed by acclaimed professional musicians and qualified educators to establish a successful and enjoyable way to introduce kids to the fundamentals of music and encourage their interest in this discipline.

Very different from classes available elsewhere, our unique method is an integrated body of theories and practices based on existing principles, blended and adapted to maximize childrens’ musical understanding and enjoyment. Our fun, holistic and very “hands on” approach allows children to learn how to listen, feel and express themselves through music. Music, above all, is a language, a way to communicate and articulate.

Our intensive music classes are designed for specific age groups in order to gradually shift from a general introduction to the basic elements of music (rhythm, melody, understanding of pitch and timbre, movement) to more specific and advanced studies of instruments.

Children are exposed to diverse musical styles and instruments from around the world and their inherent cultural contexts; they get to know the mechanics and physicality of each instrument, its specific techniques and potential.

Instruction also emphasizes the physical aspects of performing music and encourages children to become active and sensitive audience members.

Creativity and imagination are supported throughout the process of music creation, from composition to song writing, to playing an instrument and performing with a group and conducting.

This innovative program will help improve motor and concentration skills, supporting a child’s cognitive development and emotional growth through musicality. A very inviting and inclusive atmosphere is set where each child receives individual attention (small teacher to student ratio) but also learns how to listen and work together with the rest of the group, improving cooperative attitudes.
